To the tiny little girl who first made me a mom...
We love you and miss you so very much. I think of you every single day.
To the little boy who wakes up saying "MOOOMMMMMM?" "Mom?" "Mama?", who likes using his crayons on the windows when he manages to sneak-hide one, who still cuddles on my lap, and chases bunnies and birds all over the yard and our dogs all over the house...
Thank you for teaching me to smile again. For making me laugh every day. For reminding me of what's important. I am so glad I get to be home with you each day as you discover the world around you. You have taught me so much.
To the baby boy who gives me big almost-toothless grins and is iffy on letting anyone else hold him especially if he realizes it's not me...
I love your baby giggles and holding you and watching you observe the world around you. You are growing up so fast, I can close my eyes and already see you playing cars on the floor and running around with your brother. But even with the sleepless nights and teething and all that stuff, I am so glad you have months and months of babyness left. It does go too fast.
And to my mom. Who has seen me at my best and worst and would do anything for her family. There is no way to ever thank her enough for all she has done and does, but I hope I can be half as good of a mom to my kids as she has been to us.
